My name is Adrian and I have always had a passion for crafts. I was fortunate enough to witness my great-grandmother’s skill in embroidery when I was just four years old. The intricate designs and the way she brought them to life fascinated me.
When I turned six, my grandmother took me under her wing and started teaching me the art of embroidery. It was a bonding experience for both of us, and I quickly fell in love with the craft. As I grew older, my skills improved, and I began exploring other forms of needlework, such as sewing and crocheting.
Now in my 50s, I am proud to say that I have passed on this family tradition to my own children. I have five children, four girls, and one boy, some sew, some crochet some are crafty. It brings me great joy to see them carry on the legacy and create their own beautiful pieces.
Not only have my children embraced crafts, but I have also had the pleasure of teaching my four grandchildren. It warms my heart to see the younger generation take an interest in this timeless craft. It’s a wonderful way for us to connect and create lasting memories together.
Whether it’s crafting, embroidery or crocheting it’s more than just a hobby for me. It is a way to express my creativity and connect with my family. Each stitch tells a story and carries a piece of our family history. It’s a tradition that I hope will continue for generations to come.
